Istvàn Szabò artworks

Istvan Szabo is a Hungarian artist, living and working in London. He graduated from Central St Martins College of Art and Design, London.

His artworks are ranging from abstract sculptural pieces to paintings, drawings and mix media artworks.

The inspiration to create  comes from his surrounding,manufactured objects, structures, shapes and forms as well as by natural most often by floral and geological features. He is particularly interested in textured surfaces, patterns. The use of clay as a medium to express his thoughts is very important to him. He believes that this basic but very versatile material, which can be found literally anywhere on the surface on our planet is one of the best vehicles for him to express his art.
